On April 25th, 2024 in New York City, Maya was crowned the international title of Miss Queen of the World 2024. The event, which drew in an international audience, showcased the beauty, grace, accomplishments and talent of women from all different countries, ages, and backgrounds.

Maya Ramsahoye originally from Wainwright, Alberta; is a professional makeup artist, international model, model trainer and coach, pageantry coach, and creative director. She started and runs Mirror Consulting which is a makeup artistry business focusing on beauty education to empower women through cosmetics. She is also the creator of, “EveryBODY”, which is the title of her platform that unites the community with the modeling industry and embraces unrestricted beauty, diversity, and authenticity. Maya has over 7 years of pageantry experience. 

She is a two-time national title holder, three-time provincial titleholder, and has competed in a total of 8 competitions. Her journey to her current international title and crown began as Miss Queen of the World Canada 2023. Maya loves pageantry because it offers her a broader spectrum for her passion for teaching, charity work, community involvement, and creating connections and working amongst people, to inspire and create change where it is needed.

Maya’s goal for her reign as Miss Queen of the World is to continue to empower individuals through her platform, business, and mentorship. She is excited to use her views on redefined beauty to empower, educate, and involve. Maya will use her extensive knowledge of her many years in the beauty and modeling industry and her new-found passion for entrepreneurship to celebrate individualism and diversity and share new perspectives on today’s topics. 

Maya has had the unique and prestigious opportunities to work internationally as a makeup-artist, walk countless runways as a model, work alongside many renowned photographers, illustrious designers, and industry professionals.

Maya currently is continuing on dedicating her time to training her models, expanding within her company, working with her platform, and honoring her responsibilities and duties of her international title.
